Caring For Your Hat

Steaming felt will open the fibers and easily allow lifting surface dirt and dust. The steam will also soften the fiber for reshaping and smoothing any wrinkles in the band and/or trimmings. To steam your hat, simply hold the hat over a steady stream (a steamer or tea kettle will work fine) and gently brush the hat with a clean, softbristle brush.
